The 20th century produced its fair share of powerhouse artist couples, among them Alfred Stieglitz and Georgia OâKeeffe, Lee Krasner and Jackson Pollock, Helen Frankenthaler and Robert Motherwell, and Willem and Elaine de Kooning.
