Heavy showers in the Nilgiris over the past week have replenished streams inside the forest, effectively addressing concerns over the availability of water for wild animals in summer. The Mudumalai Tiger Reserve now has enough water to cater to the needs of wild animals, as all water sources, including artificial water bodies, have sufficient water. The water levels are back to normal in the forests after the rain.
