Newport News Councilwoman extends protective order

A judge on Thursday granted Newport News Councilwoman Sharon Scott an extension on her preliminary protective order against School Board member Marvin Harris until Dec. 20. Scott has filed charges against Harris, accusing him of stalking and destruction of property.
