Newhall Vandalism Suspect In Custody After Shattering Liquor Store Window
A Newhall vandalism suspect was taken into custody Tuesday after he allegedly shattered the window of a liquor store.
Around 12:40 p.m. deputies started receiving reports of a vandalism call at Bonanza Liquor store on the corner of Main Street and Market Street, said Lt. Jim Royal, with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
The suspect was seen using a magazine rack to shatter the windows of the liquor store, according to a witness.
Deputies located the suspect on Market Street near Railroad Avenue where he was taken into custody, according to officials.
