A newborn baby was saved from drowning in the Yamuna in Mathura after some local residents found the baby floating in a pan on the river water.
The police were informed about the baby, who are now on the lookout for the person who abandoned the baby in the river. The newborn was found at the Chamunda Ghat of Vrindavan.
Vrindavan (Mathura) police officials told IndiaToday.in that the baby has been admitted to the child department of the district hospital where it is undergoing treatment for possible exposure to harmful elements.
