The Manor Way Community SpeedWatch group was out yesterday (Tuesday April 27) targeting drivers exceeding the limit.
Officers from Halesowen policing unit were helping the group, which is one of a number of new community SpeedWatch groups being formed to tackle the problem of speeding motorists on Manor Way, Mucklow Hill and Springfield Road.
They tweeted: "The Halesowen team have been assisting the Manor Way Community SpeedWatch group deterring and detecting speeding vehicles! Great work all!"
Speeding motorists who are doing 35mph and above in a 30mph limit and 46mph and above in a 40mph limit, will be sent warning letters by the police.
