The New Mexico Public Education Department is asking for another standardized testing waiver for the spring. The Albuquerque Teachers Federation is hoping the Department of Education grants the waiver because they feel standardized testing is going to be too confusing during online and hybrid learning.

"Giving any test at this point while in remote is logistically difficult. It's hard on the teachers and hard on the kids," said ATF president Ellen Bernstein.
