New fires discovered near Selma, fire crews heading to scene

Redwood Highway Fire burning along Highway-199 near Selma
New fires has been discovered between Selma and Kerby near Gold Canyon Dr. (Sisses Gap). Because of fire conditions in the area, the Josephine County Sheriff's Office has issued a Level 1 'BE READY' Evacuation Order to people living on Wild Park Lane and Terrell Way.

UPDATE: According to ODF Southwest, firefighters from their office, Illinois Valley Fire District, Rural Metro Fire, Applegate Valley Fire District, Rogue River Fire District, and Oregon State Police are on scene of an estimated 15 acre fire along Highway-199 near Milepost 23.
