CION is helping to launch Freshwater Production Studios, a purpose-built film and television studio to be constructed within the Nickel City.
The film and television industry has been evolving over 20 years in Northern Ontario. First, the region needed to develop expertise; next there was a need to build the necessary infrastructure and lay the foundations.
Now, Greater Sudbury is poised and ready for this next step, said Tammy Frick, associate executive director of CION.
