New charges for woman accused of putting manâs body in trash to collect his benefits

BRADENTON Fla. (WWSB) - The woman accused of dumping a manâs body into a trash can weeks after his death is now facing more charges in connection with the case.
Michelle Haney was initially arrested on a charge of Abuse of a Dead Human Body. Haney was charged after the body of Jon Christopher Leonard was found near the trailer park at Windmill Manor in Bradenton in December.
