Even as the Central government exempted Central Universities in the Northeast region from conducting the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admissions to undergraduate programmes for another year, the North East Students Organization (NESO), an umbrella organisation of Student bodies in the region, on Tuesday affirmed strong opposition to the conduct of CUET for north east students.
