Our Reporter Dimapur, Aug. 27 (EMN): North-East Cricket Development Committee (NECDC) held its first Achievers Nite 2021-2022 players’ awards and felicitation programme on the theme “Divided by Boundaries, United by Cricket” at Niathu Resort in Chümoukedima on Saturday. President of Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA), Kechangulie Rio said that NCA felt honoured to host the first NECDC ‘Achiever’s Nite’ at Chümoukedima but it also gave them immense pleasure to acknowledge the achievements of their brilliant players who had made all the states and the NECDC proud. Rio added that this event showcased the commitment that all the members had shown towards the development of cricket in their region and this ceremony has been observed to commemorate the achievements of their teams, support staff, athletes and all those people working day and night tirelessly. HE said they were gathered to celebrate not only the achievement of the players, but also give due regard to their values and morals, which the awardees exemplified like discipline, compassion and zeal for excellence.
