NCPA Director of Policy and Regulatory Affairs Steve Postal attended an invite-only stakeholder roundtable sponsored by the Alliance for Aging Research and the National Health Council on Medicare Part D beneficiary reforms. Steve was a panelist for the moderated discussion on the co-payment smoothing provision of the Inflation Reduction Act. Starting in 2025, Part D patients can elect to have cost-sharing “smoothed out” over the course of the benefit year and can elect to pay their cost-sharing in monthly installments.
