NBC News claims you should wear a mask while showering at the gym
NBC News is offering some unusual advice for people going to the gym during the pandemic.
According to the news network,
"you should wear your mask in the shower."
NBC News reported on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for Americans to practice social distancing and wear masks in gyms.
In its guidelines, the CDC highlights a 2020 study of a gym in Chicago.
For the study, researchers focused on 81 people who exercised at the gym facility.
68% of the gym attendees tested positive for COVID-19, the study found.
