Native Americans hope new laws push Bay Area museums and universities to return ancestral remains

UC Berkeley and other Bay Area institutions are finally complying with a 34-year-old law designed to address more than a century of Native American grave looting which put the skeletal remains and cultural artifacts of tribal ancestors on public display.
