The Mercer Island Police Department and the city’s Youth and Family Services Department are offering a free, anonymous, medication disposal event for National Drug Take Back Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 27 at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center parking lot. People wanting to make drop-offs can walk or drive up to the event location and staff will properly dispose of the medications.
