If I could fix one thing about government that affects us greatly on the Space Coast, it would be to lock NASA into a longterm plan so every time a new president gets elected, they can't change the space agency's direction.
It’s almost impossible to get anything accomplished if goals are changed before projects are finished.
And, particularly when it comes to space, projects take time: easily more than four years and not uncommonly longer than eight as well.
With our fourth president this century in President-Elect Joe Biden, we’re likely to see a fourth new mission for the space agency.
