The Anti-Atlas mountains are situated in south-west Morocco.

Recently, NASA took to Instagram to post a photograph of the Anti-Atlas Mountains situated in Morocco. Clicked 708km above the earth's surface by an orbiting satellite, it will change the way one looks at the mountain range for the good.
The post shows the mountains depicted in different ranges of color. Right from pink at the top to various shades of blue below, it looks like an artwork made on an easel by an accomplished painter.
In fact, this was a throwback post as the picture was originally taken on November 5, 2007, by the ASTER instrument on the Terra satellite. This particular satellite was the first one to form the Earth Observing System back when it launched in 1999.
