Nandi can relate well to new role

VETERAN actress Nandi Nyembe has scored a new role.
She has joined BET’s drama, Isono, where she will play Prudence.
Nandi said: “A lot has happened in this industry in the past year. Landing a role on such a big television show has not been easy since the pandemic hit. So I was excited when I was called for the role. I’m grateful to be working at a time like this.”
She described her character as an old woman who’s been through a lot.
“Prudence went through a lot of hardships while was growing up. She was raped and abused by her brother and that caused her a lot of psychological trauma.
