Mystery over abandoned car stuck between two walls in Darwen back alley

It has remained a mystery for more than two weeks now, but exactly how an abandoned car came to be wedged in a back alley is no closer to being resolved.
Councillors in Darwen have been scratching their heads since mid-January, after this untaxed car, with no MOT appeared at the rear of Olive Lane, seemingly wedged between two opposing walls.
Darwen Town Councillor, Cllr Roy Davies said bin wagons would be unable to access the alleyways due to the obstruction, which in turn could result in a build up of waste and subsequent fly-tipping.
