The Muntinlupa City government has further eased the rules on the sale and consumption of liquor and other intoxicating drinks in the city.
Mayor Jaime Fresnedi signed Ordinance 2021-246, passed by the City Council, which now allows the sale and consumption of liquor and alcoholic beverages all day except during curfew hours from midnight to 4 a.m. Previously, the city government only allowed the sale of liquor from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Fresnedi said the decision to ease the regulation on the sale of liquor aims to gradually open the economy and promote business growth.
