Amid the ongoing war of words between the ruling Shiv Sena and the Opposition over the purchase of vaccines by the BMC,
Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar has sparked a fresh controversy.
The
Mayor allegedly used objectionable language against a Twitter user who posed a question about the city civic body's global COVID-19 vaccine supply
contract while commenting on her video posted by a Marathi news channel.
Soon after the tweet went viral, it was deleted.
The
BJP also slammed the Mayor for her remarks.
