MUMBAI: Some unknown persons are suspected to have broken into an unoccupied flat at Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) building at Sainath Society in Sangharsh Nagar and stored 12.9 kg ganja worth Rs 2.58 lakh.
Acting on a tip-off, the Sakinaka police team entered the flat with the help of panch (Witness) after breaking the door lock and seized the narcotic substance on Wednesday.
Police are trying to identify the person who has stored the drugs in the flat.
The team has sought tenant details from the SRA to find out whether the flat is empty or allotted to anyone.
