Multi-media artist De’Joneiro Jones, background, 46, of St. Louis, walks some of the 6-foot-by-6-foot panels of a 2020-styled public art mural for which he was commissioned at the South 40 Underpass on Washington University’s Danforth Campus in St. Louis. De’Joneiro Jones, of St. Louis, stands in front of one of his paintings and mixed-media artwork at the 2014 “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” exhibition at Regional Arts Commission. Jones’ work has been shown in a wide variety of galleries and venues, including the Urban League (2005), Jefferson Underground (2006), Art Co-Op (2007-11), Sheldon Concert Hall (2009), Grand Center (2011), Art Lofts (2011-14) and Jacoby Arts Center (2018).
