By a convicted felon, and possession of a weapon with an obliterated serial number. He has an extensive criminal history including possessing a weapon of mass destruction, a machine gun. Just Yesterday Routh was able to get within 500 yards of mr. Trump, armed with a semiautomatic rifle, just two months after the former president was shot in another attempt on his life. All that is raising big questions about the level of security around the former president. Hes not the sitting president. If he was, we would have had the entire Golf Course surrounded. Because hes not, security is limited to the areas the Secret Service deems possible, but the Secret Service did exactly what they should have done. They provided exactly what the protection should have been, and their agent did a fantastic job. Mr. Trump was unharmed after the Secret Service spotted the Rifle Scope hidden in the bushes while trump was on the Golf Course. This was in the perimeter, the bushes on the perimeter, the agent opening fire. A witness snapped photos of the Mans License Plate and car helping police track him down quickly when he was fleeing on i95. The fbi now leading the international investigation for a possible motive. The North Carolina native told several News Agencies last year he was willing to fight and die in ukraine. It looks like, based on his Social Media profile, he was impassioned against the ukrainian cause with volodymyr zelenskyy. You dont get people who are normal. You get people who are a little deranged. It doesnt mean theyre legally insane, they have serious mental issues. Politicians on both sides of the aisle are condemning political violence as we enter the final 50 days of the campaign. President biden demanding more help for the Secret Service. Thank god the president is okay. I think we have a full report so far, but one thing i want to make clear, the service needs more help. I think congress should respond to the need. We begin in West Palm Beach, florida, with garrett haake, Nbc News national Law Enforcement and Intelligence Correspondent Tom winter, former Secret Service special Agent And Washington post national reporter who has written extensively about the Secret Service. Garrett, first to you. What is the former president doing today . How has this attempt impacted him from your reporting . Reporter hes expected tonight to make an announcement about a new Crypto Enterprise hes working on that has nothing to do with his campaign. What i can tell you now based on his Social Media posts and an interview with another network, the former president is angry. He posted on truth social a little while ago, fight, fight, fight, which became his mantra after the first Assassination Attempt in butler, pennsylvania, and in a lengthy interview he told Fox News he blames President Biden and Vice President harris rhetoric on the Campaign Trail about him for this attack. He assumes the Suspects Motivation here saying this person was clearly motivated by the language that is used against him, describing him as a threat to democracy and so forth and thats why he was targeted here. Its a shade upgraded from what he was saying at the debate, the idea he believes political rhetoric has made him a target. He concludes that interview saying that he can be even more inflammatory than others but chooses not to, a statement i think should be viewed with a good deal of skepticism. The former President S campaign does plan to keep up all of his planned Campaign Events for this week. He has at least one interview hes planning to conduct today. And i expect were going to hear a lot more about what happened on sunday, kind of built in to his Campaign Platform and the stakes that he and his followers believe are at play in this election. And, garrett, your experience down there, youve spent so much time and have been at those off the record and this was a personal movement, not a campaign scheduled movement. Questions that raises. You know that Golf Course and what the angles are, so camera crews try to get a picture of him. Why is the perimeter so exposed . I know there were highways on all sides, theres the airport nearby. And its a 27hole Golf Course with a lot of hills, a lot of traps. So its a challenge, according to former members of his detail when he was president. Its a challenge to guard him on that course. Reporter yeah, and i would say this course, more than many of his other courses, which backs up against stow many public streets, like the one im on right now, as others that are in more private, secluded areas. There are two ways the former president moves, a schedule movement, with a huge bubble of Secret Service where anyone who comes near is patted down and screened, or Offtherecord Movement, where he moves without full reporting about where theyre going. Thats how golf is generally treated. He just shows up. The fact that it is considered something more of a surprise is considered part of the security benefit. The former President S Habit Of Playing Golf basically every time hes here is one of the things that allowed News Crews in the past to find positions where we could see through the bushes, see through the trees and watch him, and perhaps, in this case i say perhaps, because we still dont know about the specifics this alleged shooter to do the same thing that many camera crews used to do in the past, find a gap in the bushes on public property or perhaps even private property just off the course and take up a position where he could see and potentially even be willing to shoot. So i think were going to hear a lot more about how this course, in particular, but all of the former President S movements especially in big, public areas like this, are protected and screened going forward. Tom, to that point, lets talk about the suspects criminal history, what his Profile Signals about a possible motive. Right. So, andrea, we have late details from the criminal complaint that was just filed in Federal Court and then sealed in West Palm Beach, participate of the Southern District of florida, and it gets to Something Garrett was just referencing which is this individuals movements. On facebook, which has been since taken down, the Facebook Profile for Ryan Routh, he put out his Whatsapp Number or account, which is associated with a number. He had a tmobile Cell Phone according to federal investigators. They asked for an emergency warrant, the capability with all the major mobile providers to go to them and say this is a national Security Concern or a threat to imminent life, and we need more information about this phone and we need it now. And theyll get that granted. Apparently that happened yesterday. And in the course of doing so, they were able to locate where this individual was at the time where the Cell Phone belonging to Ryan Routh was at the time of the shooting, and then they could go back and see where it had been. According to the affidavit, he had been along the Tree Line outside the Golf Course near where garrett is standing from 1 59 a. M. Yesterday until 1 31 p. M. Yesterday, which is, of course, right after the moment where Secret Service fires upon this individual. According to the complaint, apparently he had been seen moving along the Tree Line with this weapon, and thats what Drew Fire from secret Service Agents. So it raises a couple of questions. One, this individual knew to be there apparently set up under the cover of night. Im not sure what the lighting in that specific area but had set up overnight, was there and waiting for trump at some point. Now this is an Offtherecord Movement as you were talking about and garrett was talking about, so it puts out, were having a rally, get tickets, donate. This is not Something Part of their official schedule. On the other hand it is not a State Secret by any means Donald Trumps Favorite Hobby Is Playing Golf and if hes in florida its likely hell go to his Golf Course on the weekend when hes not out campaigning. So when you look at the totality of what occurred, its obvious that had he had normal president ial security, which is not something that is given to a former president or even to a candidate, but if it was, say, Joe Biden golfing there on sunday, they would have swept this area and likely discovered this individual well before the protectee would have shown up. I think thats going to be a question. Its a very difficult ask of the Secret Service given their resources here. It may not be a fair ask as to what they do from now on as it pertains to trump after two either attempted assassinations or attempted assassinations. Ive covered President S and former President S on Golf Courses, mostly President S, and that protocol is complicated for President S, and if its bumped up to former President S, in his case, they usually go a hole in advance. Tell us what it looks like in the president ial detail. Ive done those assignments where you go and you accompany the president on a specific Golf Course or hes out. Where is it happening . Outdoors. A large mass of land to oversee, to secure. So when you are a sitting president , you do you do get everything. And when i say everything, it means all the tactical elements, a large number of agents, a large number of Field Agents. When i say Field Agents is when a president travels outside of washington, d. C. , and he goes to florida or new york city, the agents in that vicinity, in the field offices, they also come in to support. And then you extend out to local Law Enforcement. Youre looking at a 500yard distance. In a scenario like this, that is typically going to be covered externally by local Law Enforcement, those assets here. What is he getting . Counter assault team, the s. W. A. T. Elements, that go to an attack when something happens. Counter sniper unit, theyre looking out for a sniper. Something they may have been looking out here but he was concealed in the bushes. How did he take position . Why did nobody see him . What is the Security System like at the trump Golf Course . Are there any Motion Detectors . Any cameras . How come he was not picked up . Do they have local security at the trump Golf Course . All these things are things i would look at. If you want to raise the bar and give him what the president gets, you are talking at a massive amount of assets and resources and, quite frankly, money. We can raise the bar. They did do their job in intercepting the shooter. He was intercepted. The element, the Security Element that they had, which was that leapfrog agent, he did see the shooter, he did point him out, he did take shots, and he did intercept The Incident. To that point them also had communication with local officials to quickly intercept him which they didnt have, they didnt use in butler. Also we have some sketches of all of this to just share with you today but you can see that sketch there of him listening to the charges. What about drones and other technology you alluded to . Cameras or Drone Coverage when hes playing golf, something like that, which doesnt involve adding necessarily more personnel but does involve scrutinizing the bushes, they might have spotted him on the perimeter. He was there for hours. Absolutely. I dont know if its been corroborated, utilized in this event. I have not seen it yet. That will be an interesting question to ask and yet again you are right. They did not use last time the drones, there was an issue with getting them up in the air despite the shooter at the Trump Rally was able to get his to work. This is something that will be asked again. Where were the drones. Did you not deploy this time. Valid questions. You wrote the book about the Secret Service, President Biden said today they need more personnel. They can expand by using military certainly for the president of the United States but even if the funding were to materialize it takes time to train them and theyre about to face the u. N. General assembly, foreign leaders, embassies, consulates, the residents of ambassadors get secret Service Protection in a car, certainly in the recent environment, the threat environment, since the war started just about a year ago, the Israeli Embassy and other muslim and jewish sites around the country have also had that kind of protection. How do they have to meet this challenge . Youre exactly right, andrea, when you say not even the president , not even President Biden, can snap his fingers and all of a sudden 500 new secret Service Agents or tacticians or officers arrive on the job. And really its looking like thats what the Secret Service right now needs both to protect the candidates in this threat environment. The former president having now been the target of an apparent Assassination Attempt in a little over two months and also the 40plus other people the Secret Service protects. Joe biden and President Trump, former President Trump, both as President S were urged to beef up the security and the posture and the funding of the Secret Service. A congressional bipartisan panel had 50plus recommendations for the ways in which the Secret Service was stretched too thin and needed additional Money And Staff to do its job. You cant now in the wake of two Assassination Attempts say, oh, ten years later it seems like maybe we need to do that. You cannot snap your fingers and hire all those people. And as you know, andrea, the Campaign Season is one where the Secret Service literally never takes a breath, never gets a break. They had, as you know, the dnc, the rnc, all sandwiched around the time of the shooting in butler. Literally there were agents saying as they prepared for Donald Trump to have that outdoor campaign rally, hey, were not going to be able to have as many agents as wed like because we have a bunch of people that were sending either from milwaukee to another location or to another part of the dnc preparation. Thats how strained they are and now theyre preparing for the united nations. And still, to your question earlier about the use of all of the technology and all of the services that the Secret Service has at its disposal to protect Donald Trump, i Cant Answer that. Sources have told me that a drone was in use at the site the other day when trump was golfing, and he did have protection that was nearly on par with the protection that he had as president. And i mean to be very specific about that and say he had the protection from the Secret Service that they normally provide him when hes president. Garrett haake, tom winter, evy, carol, thanks for starting us off. And joining us now from West Palm Beach, msnbc anchor, my colleague, jose diazbalart. Jose, youve been watching, youve been all over this story. Youre there where this terrifying incident occurred. What are you hearing from local officials there . Reporter andrea, weve heard from Martin County Sheriff who described how the suspect was apprehended on i95. And, andrea, and i just want to bring us all into just how difficult this situation is for officials to protect, to provide protection in an area like where we are right now. So this is the entrance to trump international Golf Club, right . Right behind me in other words, in front of me, i should say, is a parking lot, a public parking lot. And just maybe 50 yards away is the Palm Beach county public library. You can easily park your car here overnight, and No One would see or ask anything. And if you go right out the entrance here, andrea, and you take a left, youre going to bump into 809, and that takes you directly to Palm Beach international airport. Its 1. 8 miles away. And if you keep going on this Summit Boulevard just a little bit further, you bump into i95, which is where this suspect took a left, and started heading up north. I95 can get you to maine. North of maine and into canada. And so he was apprehended at the palm city exit, where they first spotted the car, two and a half miles in, they were able to bring him to a stop and detain him. But, andrea, all of this has to do with someone who saw that person getting into a car and speeding off, took a picture of the car and took a picture of the License Plate of that car and then called that information in to authorities. It is why Martin County Sheriff says they were able to track him down because they knew the make of the car. They knew the color, and they knew the tag. How different things would have been if that one person had not taken the time to spot the car, to look at it, to take a picture of the tag and send it in. With all of these arteries that surround trump Golf Club, with Palm Beach airport literally less than two miles behind the entrance of this Golf Club, with i95 just a couple of miles away, where do you start looking for that person if you dont know what they are traveling in . Its really extraordinary to think what one person did and was willing to do to make a difference here. Jose, ive been thinking about that since yesterday. Who among us would have the presence of mind to figure out how to i. D. Someone and what the Car Make was and then take a picture of the car and the License Plate so that the local Sheriffs Office was able to track down that person and just think, also, jose, as i thank you because i know you have to go off and do more Assignment Reporting just think if they didnt know, you wouldnt know if it was a conspiracy as quickly as they did, if there are others out there. And the bipartisan Task Force that was quickly formed following the first attempt in butler, p. A. , nine weeks ago only nine weeks ago when Donald Trumps life demanding a briefing on that incident. Madeleine dean is a member of that bipartisan Task Force and joins us now. Congresswoman, thanks for being with us. I know youre so busy today. A little over two months since that first Assassination Attempt, not unprecedented. Gerald ford, two attempts on his life. The atmosphere is so highly charged now with Social Media, with hightech weapons. What do you expect the Secret Service to tell you when they brief you . What do you want to know about this . First, andrea, thank you for having me on. And i have to say, like you, i am stunned. I am shocked. And this is sobering. A second attempt just nine weeks during this heated political season, i just condemn any political violence, i condemn all violence, but this insane level of political violence, which came so close to yet again potentially wounding or killing mr. Trump. I do want to lift up what jose just lifted up, i think in our examination, the Task Force examination of the butler Assassination Attempt and what we will learn about this one, we will find gaps but we will find heroes. I want to shout out to the person who had the wherewithal who identified the suspect car and the tag. What i hope the Secret Service has done. Last week we had a classified briefing around butler and our bipartisan Task Force, which is united in saying there is no place for political violence, and it is our charge by a unanimous vote of the house, 4160, every single member who was there, democrats, and republicans voted to set up this Task Force to get at the truth, to say there is no place for political violence, to make sure the resources are in place to protect our candidates, our elected, or those who want to be engaged and go to a rally, and to make sure we are able to restore faith in institutions. So we are united in that front and what we need from the Secret Service is more transparent truth about what happened, what works, what doesnt, what resources are missing. And the Secret Service is so heavily tasked, theres also the children and other relatives who in certain instances require and need extensive Secret Service, and in the trump case, the adult children traveling overseas, thats an even more intensive secret Service Protection when he was president. Do you think that candidates now, the two major party candidates, should have president ial Level Security absent the military chain of command, the component that with the nuclear football and all, goes with the president of the United States . I think they should, and we saw that President Biden immediately after the butler attempt, which did kill one man and grievously wounded two others, that he said that mr. Trump deserved president ial a return to president ial level. The same holds for Vice President Kamala Harris. The Threat Level is so great in this country, and that is what this exposes. We are charged, All Of Us, with curtailing the heated rhetoric that might lead someone to think that they should take into their own hands the taking out of a political candidate. So i do believe that the Secret Service appears from our preliminary reviews, they appear to be stretched too thin, that they need more resources, and certainly these candidates with the threats that they are under must have toplevel Secret Service accommodations and protections. Attorney, former secret Service Agent, Bobby Mcdonald and former atf Special Agent in charming. Bobby mcdonald, this was a familiar location for the Secret Service. They were there for four years during the Trump Presidency and since. Given what happened, a Trump Campaign Event in butler, pennsylvania, two months and a week ago, how was that suspect able to get so close and stake the former president out . Great question ive been asking let me pause myself bobby, let me pause All Of Us because we just got, for the first time, the Body Camera Footage from the local Sheriffs Office. This is the arrest, the apprehension, on i95. Lets watch. Straight back keep walking get down on the ground. Arms down. Driver, take two steps to your right take two steps to your right okay. This is what you just walk straight back this is what you just witnessed. You can hear and, first of all, see the sheriff, the tactical units, mobilized quickly. He was heading up i95. Because of the witness, they were notified by the Secret Service, that worked. You see the apprehension. Bobby, tell us your interpretation and how much they actually mobilized, the locals got there with dogs, with all the weaponry they needed. They didnt know what they would get to him, what to expect. Absolutely, andrea. Great coordination, great communication, some stuff we didnt see nine weeks ago but we saw here yesterday that the elements all worked together. In Law Enforcement, and i know my colleague, jim, hopefully will agree with me, we got lucky with that Witness Yesterday who took that photograph and that License Plate, got that information to where it needed to get to. That information was then passed real time, and that individual was apprehended, i guess its 45 miles north of where The Incident took place. Excellent work on the part of everybody in that case and glad we have that individual in custody. And, jim cavanaugh, walk us through the gunmans setup. He had all sorts of tactical gear. We know, and i will talk to barbara about, how a convicted felon, those are big questions, had that kind of gear. What was the setup, the stakeout that he had for some 12, 13 hours . Yeah, well, what he had was a snipers perch. He took these backpacks with Ceramic Tile or ballistic plates and put it on the fence, Blue Paracord tied to the backpack, loops around to the one on the left, and he has affixed those on the bottom. Some would say hes going to grab the vest and put it on. I doubt that. I think this is actually his perch. The level that he has, hes going to be in a Shooting Position behind it. Hes probably sitting or kneeling right behind those backpacks with the plates. His rifle in the position where you see the barrel in the fence and whats so important there is hes resting the barrel on the Chain Link Fence, and that would give that barrel a very, very steady position to take a long shot. Now this rifle is not the ideal rifle to make a shot at 300 to 500 yards. Seriously, its not. Its an sks rifle, a soviet variant, used heavily in the 40s by the soviet bloc, but its a similar design and ammunition. Its not a highquality rifle. But he did have a scope on there. And so having a scope and being able to rest the barrel on a Chain Link Fence gives great advantage to the shooter, great advantage. And i would say what hes telling us here by his equipment, he wants to survive the event, why he has the Ceramic Plates and go pro camera. He was planning on surviving the event until a secret Service Agent or whoever engaged him and saved President Trumps life. But hes way too close. He should have never been there. That should have never happened. And im proud to say the deputies did a good job as a former deputy myself, they did a standard Felony Car Stop and did a great job. And, barbara, lets talk about the charges. Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a weapon with an obliterated serial number. That certainly gets to momotive. Will there be additional charges just to hold him . I think thats right, andrea. To be able to hold someone in custody, you need to be able to charge them with crimes. They are rather obvious charges. Hes in possession. He has the prior felony. And so these are charges to hold him. But my guess is what prosecutors and investigators are doing now is looking to see if they can charge him with something else likely attempted assassination of a former president. Thats a possibility. My guess is theyre looking at Social Media to exploit that and find what they can find about Motive And Opportunity and also looking whether Theres Anyone else involved in the plot, did anyone conspire with him, provide him with this weapon, which you correctly point out, it is illegal for him to purchase. So my guess is they have him in custody now. They have a little bit of time to investigate, and they could add additional charges when they present an indictment, and they have some time now, 30 days, before this complaint will expire to be able to explore other charges. And, Bobby Mcdonald, the Secret Service is so stretched. They have their normal duties, but now in the 50 final days of the campaign theyre in the general election, they are all over these two candidates, supposedly. Do they need to up that and give them president ial Level Protection . Of course Kamala Harris has Vice President ial protection already, so she has enhanced protection. Well, without question, andrea. As you said in the last segment, you have the u. N. Right now up in new york with 150 or 180 heads of state. They just came out of two national special Security Events at the rnc and the dnc and now you have the candidates heading to the homestretch of the election. Look, the Secret Service has an opportunity here to, as weve talked before, reset, reboot, make sure its taking its no fail mission to a new level. We have to go out and work hard every day this is our busy time. Thats not an excuse for anything like this to happen. This is what we do for the campaign and the rnc and the dnc and the u. N. Every year. This is our busy time. The agents of the service who werent good before, are making sure these people under our protection and families are safe and they need to keep to go that in the homestretch. All the ts are crossed, all is are dotted and all the protective platforms implemented are fully seamless in the way that theyre implemented going forward. Absolutely. He walked the trump Golf Course this morning to assess Security Needs in the wake of yesterdays second apparent Assassination Attempt against former President Trump in just nine weeks. President biden is endorsing bipartisan calls for higher security for the former president. Joining me is white House Correspondent Monica alba and Nbc News Homeland Security Correspondent julia ainsley. Monica, weve talked about the fact that candidate Donald Trump gets less protection than a sitting president would. After butler, some protection was added, but what are you hearing about the potential for new protocols surrounding Donald Trump . Kamala harris is well protected as the Vice President , or even the president. And its rare, andrea, for Secret Service or other Law Enforcement agencies to be talking about specific shifts because they dont want to Detail Anything that could give away their own planning and their own really highLevel Security organization around any kinds of events for these protectees. We did see in the butler attempt, a couple shifts to the candidates in terms of some of that specific glass that is now positioned in certain outdoor events we have seen for the former president , now for Vice President harris and President Biden in certain circumstances as well to protect against any possible shots, but, again, that is for something that would be for an event that would be open to the public or at least telegraph to the public what were talking about and what happened yesterday is in a completely different category. There are questions about whether there would be other Security Protocols that could be evaluated here and assessed, and a lot that have will take place behind the scenes. Im told for the Vice President , for instance, she has a very full schedule this week that will be the case for the next 50 days until the election, and theyre assessing and evaluating in real time all the time, and that is because she is the sitting Vice President. Im told there are no changes to her schedule at this point. Shes in Washington Today for some campaign meetings. Shell be addressing the congressional hispanic Caucus Institute Conference in washington on wednesday, but she does have travel related to the campaign tuesday, thursday and friday. She will be hitting all the Blue Wall states. This is something, again, really in motion always. It certainly was earlier this summer, and it still is in making sure theyre the best protect the with the best possible available resources. But you see the president and the Vice President stressing they would like to add to that if possible. And, julia, do they need a new appropriation or a supplemental or is there a Reserve Emergency Fund they can use . Theres only 50 days. Theres no way to get this done in a budget way, but they need more money. They Cant Hire more people. They Cant Hire and train more people in time, but presumably more overtime . More deployment . Youre hitting on something thats key and thats the training. One thing they do have is pulling in other agencies like Homeland Security investigations, which falls under i. C. E. They currently have about 1,500 people just from that one agency going to the u. N. To get ready next week in new york city, and they have about 270 of those people on the campaigns, but they arent trained like Secret Service are. Thats the Martin County Sheriffs department. This video youre seeing from a Body Cam is the moment hes already the suspect is already outside of is that you can see in the left part, that pickup truck. The suspect is being told over and over again step to your right, take some more steps, and then this is the moment. You can see he has his shirt lifted as hes apprehended. Thats standard operating procedure, they want to make sure he doesnt have any explosive devices on him, as he is arrested. This happened just a couple of miles, about 41 miles north of where i am now, andrea. This is trump international Golf Club where the president was playing Golf Yesterday with a friend and where the suspect was camped out. According to tom winter, he arrived here around 2 00 a. M. , stayed overnight and then put up those two backpacks that youve seen in the pictures that authorities have released so far. The two pictures of the two backpacks. A go pro camera on one signed of them and then that long weapon, the, apparently, looks like an akstyle long semiautomatic weapon. But, andrea, all of this, what were talking about today, happened only because a good samaritan spotted that Person Running from somewhere outside trump Golf Club heading into that automobile and had the presence of mind and the strength and the valor to take a picture of the car, take a picture of that cars tag, and then call that in to authorities. Thats how officials at Martin County shersheriffs departmente able to spot and find that car about 41 miles north of here at one of the you know, just before one of the exits. But, andrea, had they not had that information, wed have a whole different conversation going on and, by the way, were being told Martin County Sheriffs department says the former president has invited the officers that took part in that takedown of that suspect on i95 to maralago later today. The Acting Director of the Secret Service will be going to maralago, which is about four miles from where we are here, to meet with the former President Some time today. The republican governor, mike dewine, speaking out against the false rumor, defending the city of springfield and the immigrants who live there. Look, springfield is a good. They are good people. They are welcoming people. We have challenges every day. We are working on those challenges. And any comment about that otherwise i think is hurtful and is not helpful to the city of springfield and the people of springfield. At the exact same time that he was speaking, j. D. Vance was doubling down on the false claims on several networks. I hear you saying theyre baseless. Im not repeating them because i invented them out of thin air. Im repeating them because my constituents are saying these things are happening. I have to create stories so the american media pays attention to the suffering of the american people, then thats what im going to do. Joining me now, former alabama senator, doug jones, susan, you heard what j. D. Vance said. Hes conflating the concerns about immigration which is probably their best issue in this economy with what is happening with the legal migration. The invitation to haitians to come to springfield because they needed the workers. It was not Border Control and illegal Migration Or Anything else of the like. And he keeps conflating that repeatedly and refusing to deal with the falsity of the rumors. And andrea, he is the u. S. Senator representing the state of ohio. He should be seeking to protect the people of his state. Securing extra funding if that is what is needed to handle the increase in immigration. Legal immigration when it comes to the haitians in springfield. He also has now said he creates stories. You know, a constituent can call an office and say there are little green men wandering outside. It doesnt mean it gets repeated as truth. And what j. D. Vance has done is show the people of ohio and the people of this country that he is a sellout. He is just looking to promote a Trump Agenda and he doesnt care if its true or not. And frankly, after i believe Trump And Vance lose, i think he will have a heck of a time with reelection. Doug jones, all the polling is showing, this is a very tight race. And the democratic officials will tell you they think that this is so tight, Governor Shapiro of pennsylvania told me after the debate, he said a very strong debate performance, that they werent sure they could win pennsylvania. I think they will win pennsylvania. And i agree with susan. I think the Harriswalz Ticket will win. At the end of the day, people will go into that Voting Booth. Theyll vote early. Theyll look at the entire picture. They wont look at one or two issues except for a small swath of the electorate. And this presents a much bigger problem than simply lying about it and pandering to a base. Think about whether or not if Vladimir Putin or kim jongun or something, are they going to accept anything these guys say . Is that the kind of leader you want that will sit down at a bargaining table, a Negotiating Table and accept at Face Value Everything these dictators and authoritarian governments will tell you . And cave in the way that j. D. Vance and Donald Trump have caved in on this particular issue . I dont think so. I think the american people are getting tired of this. I think at the end of the day, thats what well see in the Voting Booth and what well see as a result of the election in november. Well, the doubling or tripling down, they think it is effective. They think the Immigration Issue is such a powerful issue. Just now on truth social, the former president tweeting, the rhetoric lies as exemplified by the false statements made by comrade Kamala Harris, all the ridiculous lawsuits, specifically designed to inflict new level of hatred abuse, the bullets are flying. It will only get worse allowing millions of people from places unknown to invade and take over the country. So he is, and then all caps against immigrants. So senator, hes conflating immigration, the Assassination Attempts based on no proof, and all of this with democrats and labeling her as a marxist, a communist. He is just playing to a base. He has all the people that believe that kind of crap. He is going to get those. But other people are looking at that and saying, what did he just say . Was that even coherent, the way hes doing it and the namecalling and the chaos . It makes no sense. Theyre certainly not believing this business about eating cats and dogs. Thats just the craziest thing. Youve got good republicans who are saying, no, no. These are legal immigrants. They are contributing to society in springfield which is a wonderful town. And look what is happening to that poor town. Canceling classes, shutting down classes in the university where they happen to go online.
