The, way candidates for Speaker Of The House have until noon today to declare their candidacy. There is a lot of them. Assistant democratic leader of the house, congressman james claiborne, joins me live to discuss. Faceoff. Donald trumps former fixer, Michael Cohen, will be in the same new york courtroom this week as the judge in trumps Civil Fraud Trial threatens to jail the twice impeached four times indicted former president. Im jonathan capehart, this is the sunday show. This morning, new developments in the israelhamas war. A convoy of 17 trucks carrying aid from gaza has quashed the Rafah Border A Day after a convoy of 20 trucks delivered food and medical supplies to the gaza strip. Also new this morning, the Israeli Military says that it killed the Deputy Commander of the Hamas Rocket Fire for us while pounding hamas targets in the gaza strip. Nbc news has not independently verified this claim. That Development Comes as israel amps up its airstrikes in preparation for the, quote, next stages of war. This is according to the spokesman for the Israel Defense force. Those next stages could be a likely Ground Invasion, which israel has been threatening since the Hamas Terrorists attacks 15 days ago. Yesterday, the idf said its soldiers have been engaging in Field Exercises and are ready and near the gaza strip at this very moment. Also yesterday, defense secretary lloyd austin announced that the United States will increase its Military Presence in the region by redirecting the highs and our strike route to the persian golf, and send an Additional Air defense weapons to the region to help defend israel if necessary, and deter iran and its proxy forces from entering the war. The secretary also issued prepared to deploy orders for troops to be ready for deployment to the middle east. Meanwhile, israel says that at least 212 people are currently being held hostage in gaza by hamas. Joining me from israel, nbc news correspondent josh lederman. Josh, thank you for being here. Aid is on its way to gaza for secondary. What can you tell us about the shipment, and should be expect more in the coming days . That is certainly a hope, jonathan. After the shipment yesterday of 20 trucks in a convoy, that enter the gaza strip. It was unclear whether that was a oneoff or whether this is going to be something that was sustainable. That there would be deliveries every single day, which is what age groups face is so badly needed. The aid that was delivered yesterday, according to gaza health officials, was about 3 of what normally enters the gaza strip on any given day before the war. Its far less than what they need is there, given the humanitarian crisis. The good news is that today, weve seen some movement. What we know right now is that 17 aid trucks have entered the egyptian side of the border. We are still working to pin down exactly whats happened after. That whether theyre going to actually make it into gaza, that is the open question. If they, do the hope would be that this has now worked out a work flow, if you, well with the egyptians, with the israelis, and with officials in gaza to be able to make this a sustainable cadence of aid flowing into the gaza strip. Josh, any updates on when the gaza incursion might start . Well, its weird. Weve been in this Holding Pattern for probably a week, now jonathan. And where its felt in minute. These really government keeps putting out information suggesting it could happen at any moment. Here we are. It hasnt started. Yet some of that might have to do with the intensive Behind The Scenes discussions that were happening around getting those two americans out that were released on friday. Also, its possible that israel is simply making those final preparations. In the past 24 hours or so, weve learned from israels military that theyve made a decision to expand their operations, that theyre getting ready for operations that will include actions on the grounds. We are also seeing the Israeli Military put out their own video of Infantry Bug Raids practice in the battle plan. All indications, as you can, here in Military Help the copped air is going to above my head right now. This is east of the gaza strip. Israel may be ready to go on it anytime. So, far no final word on when thats going to happen. Josh, quickly, can you tell us more about the pentagon announcements increasing americans presents, Military Presence in the middle east . I think if you look at what the u. S. Is moving into the region, jonathan, its pretty clear that what the u. S. Is trying to do is not get ready for u. S. Troops to be on the ground in gaza, but to deter a wider conflict in the region, which is the big concern. The u. S. Is sending and things like the air defense system, which operates against threats from a very high altitude. Thats where patriots, anti military batteries. These are not the kinds of things you put into israel, for example, to be used to shoot down rockets from gaza. This is not the iron dome. This is more the kind of thing you put in place to deal with threats from a sovereign military such as iran, frankly. Potentially, missiles from hezbollah and lebanon. So the goal here, from the u. S. , is to really make sure that they have the Military Assets in the region. Also the troops already on standby to respond if this were to widen to involve other nations, and other militant groups. Israel is also very concerned on this. The Prime Minister, netanyahu, today, just visited a Commando Trip on israels northern border. Prime minister netanyahu is sending a warning to hezbollah that if they get involved in this war, it is going to make the last war that israel had with lebanon and hezbollah look like a walk in the park. Jonathan. Josh, reporting live from israel. Thank you very much. Pro israel and pro palestinian protests are erupting around the world. This is as israel continues to bombard gaza. 15 days after the hamas terrorist attacks. Thismorning in, and its aircraft struck the compound beneath hamas in the west bank. Palestinian medics say at least one person was killed. The Israeli Military says the compound is being used by militants to organize attacks. That comes just four days after an israeli airstrike hit the grounds of a gazan city orthodox church, sheltering displaced people. The idf says that it targeted the Hamas Command Center nearby. Nbc news said that they have not independently verified how many people died, but the hamas controlled Gaza Health Ministry said at least 18 palestinians were killed. Tensions remain dangerously high as israel prepares for a massive Ground Invasion in. Gaza despite offering his full support to israel, President Biden caution the Israeli Government against Overreach Ainge or in his Oval Office Speech on thursday. When i was in israel yesterday, i said that when americans experienced 9 11, we felt enraged as well. We sought and got justice, we made mistakes. I caution the government of israel not to be blinded by rage. Joining me, now bobby, Gauche Editor and columnist at bloomberg opinion. Bob, thank you for being here this morning. Do you think that President Bidens caution to israel, to not be, quote, blinded by rage, is getting through to Prime Minister, israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu . Will it make a difference and the trajectory of this war . One should help for, that but there is nothing that snow tanya who has said that would suggest that it has gone through to him. If, if, and we can only speculate, one of the reasons that israel has not yet speak on its ground offensive, is because of the advisement it has received. And just having an effect. We do have to reckon with the fact that netanyahu is under enormous pressure. Theres a lot of people in israel who are fired up, and want to see vengeance. Not unreasonably, after the horrific actions on october 7th. They want to see people who are responsible for that brought down, not just brought down but eliminated forever. Netanyahu is under a lot of pressure from his own people, and also, now, facing pressure from International Community to restrain it. Bobby, for at least a week now, we have been seen that the idf is in minutes. And expensive an operational activities have been announced today, but why hasnt israeli troops moved in yet, do you think . , again we can only gas, but there are some pretty obvious things to guess. The presence of all those hostages, we have presumed that they are moving them around, israels intelligence has to catch up with that. The previous times that israel had to go into gaza, they had very clear pictures of not just the buildings. Also, who is where. Where they could expect to see hamass batteries, where they could see hamas fighters, where the leaders were hiding out. They had a decent idea. Now, a, there were all these hostages. B, after what happened, israel, you forget them for second guessing everything they know. That was a tremendous intelligence failure. Commanders will wonder how much do we really know about this landscape into which israel announced this morning that it was evacuating residents in the countrys north as tensions escalated on the border with lebanon. How likely are we to see israel fighting a two front war withs runyon, iranianbacked hezbollah . Will they answer to that question lies in tehran. To some degree, in southern lebanon. Mainly its a wrong that will decide whether hezbollah goes in to israel with strength. Israel is preparing for that eventuality, but it is not something that israel has a lot of control over. The best it can do now is prepare. It has been moving people out of those areas for pretty much the entire two weeks since the attack. The fact that it continues to do so suggest that it does take that threat very seriously. The iranians will know just as much as anybody else. The person making that decision is the Supreme Leader of iran. He isnt tyrion. His calculus is how to keep israel off guard, off balance, without fully committing all of these various different assets. Bobby, there was a summit yesterday, a gaza summit, in egypt. What was its purpose . Well, there are two things. One is symbolic, one is practical. Symbolic, to gather people from representatives in countries from around the world to show israel, and that there is momentum towards this feat. I dont know if that objective is achieved. The second objective would be trying to come up with a plan to present for the israelis. All right, we want to cease fire, this is what needs to happen after the ceasefire. That also did not really materialize. It was a little bit of all, its not an important for leaders to gather moments like this, but i dont think anything substantive came out of it. The reason for that is that the four most important protagonists were not represented. Hamas is obviously not represented as a terrorist group. Israel was not represented. The United States was not represented. Iran is not represented. Without these four, any discussion about the future of what happens in gaza, israel, can only be that is an excellent point to end on. Bobby gauche, thank you very much for coming to the sunday show. Anytime. Next, back to the drawing board. House republicans scramble to elect a new leader after a couple weeks at the capitol. Candidates for the gavel have until noon today to declare their intentions before a candidate forms tomorrow, and unexpected vote on tuesday. At least ten republicans, many of whom voted to not certify President Bidens 2020 election, have already declare that they are running, or are considering going for the speakership. The chaos kicked into high gear after congressman, jim jordan, failed in 34 votes last week. As his republican colleagues voted by Secret Ballot voted to drop them in speakerdesignate on friday. In a stunning acknowledgment of reality, even ousted former speaker, kevin mccarthy, admitted that its a hot mess. Led by gaetz, the amount of damage theyve done to this party, to this country, its instrumentable. The crazy eights led by joining me now, Biden Campaign national cochair and Assistant Democratic leader. Clyburn, as always, thank you for coming to the sunday show. Now, of the republicans, as theyre declaring running for a, speaker is there anyone that democrats view as someone they could work with, especially since at least voted against certifying the 2020 election. Jonathan, thank you very much for having me. Six voted to certify, that means that four of the ten maybe one of the criteria that i think would be necessary. Democrats hold on a second. What are the four criteria . Sorry to interrupt. I need to hear. Four of the ten. For now, they meet at least one of the criteria that we have laid out. Got it. So they certify the electorate. We have a person running the house who will inch back support much better through the elections. I dont see the democrats voting for that. Yesterday, Congressman Garcia was on the show. He talked about how democrats are interested in a bipartisan approach to governing. What exactly does that look like . Is there an appetite for that among republicans, do you think . Well, if you remember, in the last year of congress, we had as narrow a margin as the republicans had in their majority in this congress. Weve passed six major bills. Three of which were bipartisan. I think thats one of the criteria, or three of the criteria, that will say they ought to manage. They reach across the aisle, it was necessary. There are bipartisan issues on the floor that will suit the dreams and aspirations of the american people. I think that we could go far from there. So, this is not hard. All of this is saying that we have a big country. A country of diverse thought. We are represented in this country by 435 members of the house of representatives. And about half of them are democrats, about half republicans. Lets manage the house and this is there any chance, because who knows whats going to happen with a vote that is slated for tuesday, is there any chance that speaker pro tem mchenry could be the next, could be a permanent speaker . At least have his duties expanded so that yall can get some stuff done . Well, jeffries made it clear that last week, that was something that he was amenable to. I think he had, its like, i know he had this support and that. So did sure, mchenry is considered a northerner. Hes a good guy. He recognizes the diversity of this country. Thats what you learn here and the carolinas. That the country is diversified, various thoughts, and you work with people who have different thoughts than you have. So mchenry is that kind of person. Although i dont think he wants to. Hes made it clear, its not something that he wants. I suspect that if enough republicans and democrats were to say, maybe we want you. He might change his mind. Youve been on capitol hill for a long time. You have been in, will you still are in leadership. You were with clyburn in the last congress. Have you had any Back Channel Discussions with speaker pro tem mchenry, or any of the other district republicans, as i call them, about a path forward . I have not personally had any discussions with my country. I have talked to democrats who have had discussions with my country. I think those discussions seem to be very pleasant. They seem to have been very pleasant. The doors still open. Congressman clyburn President Biden has a sense i think its 105, 105 Billion Dollar aid package for israel, ukraine, and other security priorities. House Congress Going to get this passed without a speaker . I dont think we can get it there without a speaker, unless we were doing something of a temporary nature. To expand the authority as they operate in this capacity. In order to get this in a few other things done. Doesnt say they have to do it on a permanent basis, but you make adjustments. We are living in a pretty precarious time, and we have got to do the peoples business. We are there to do things for over half of the american people. That is why we must put people over politics. We cant keep this focus on how our politics. My republican friends have got the focus on the country, politics. They seem to be at the tail way gain of a dog of over 20 people. That doesnt make a lot of sense to me. I really believe that its time for them to put the peoples business about the politics. As former speaker, kevin, Mccarthy The Crazy Eights led by gaetz. Clyburn of South Carolina, thank you very much, as always, for coming to the sunday show. Thank you very much for having me. Coming up, matthew dowd, and former governor jones, join me to discuss the quest for a new house speaker, and the latest on the war between israel and hamas. Us Breaking News this morning and the israelhamas war, a convoy of 17 trucks carrying aid from gaza has crossed the rafah border the day after 20 trucks carrying the supplies of food, water, and medicine enter the gaza strip. Also, breaking overnight, the pentagon announced that the United States is increasing its Military Presence in the region. This includes moving the uss Eisenhower Strike Group to the persian golf, sending Additional Air defense weapons to the region. Secretary of defense, lloyd austin, says this t defend israel if necessary, and deter or rwandan its proxy forces from entering the fray. He also issued prepared to deploy orders for troops to be ready to deploy to the middle east. The announcement comes as israel increases its airstrikes in preparation for the, quote, next ages of war. According to the spokesperson for the Israel Defense force. On capitol hill, we are 18 days into the republican manufactured prices of no Speaker Of The House. What shame the Republican House majority try to elect a speaker has been hilarious to watch. I laugh to keep from crying because while there is slapstick antics play out, the clock is ticking on real priorities. Congress has until November 17th to reach an agreement on the Annu Spending Bills that will keep the government open. That is 26 calendar days, and only eight ofwhich the house is scheduled to be in session. Also needing congressional approval, President Bidens 105 Billion Dollar aid request for ukraine and israel which cant be done until there is a speaker in the house. Joining me, now Lincoln Project senior advisor, tara setmayer. Msnbc political contributor and analysts, author of revelations on the river. Matthew dowd. Former new york congressman, mondaire jones. Thank you very much for coming to the sunday show. Tara, of course ill start with you. Majority whip, tom hammer, of minnesota, hes emerging as a front runner for speaker. Does he have a chance . Well, unlike some others, i think that tom emmert does have the best chance, and that he has the ability to, i think, garner some democratic support. You, know working across the, aisle of that was necessary, the democrats would feel comfortable with him. For republicans, he is the most experience out of everyone that is thrown their hat in the ring right now. Some of the other backbenchers, from the peacock or that just want the attention, they are really not disqualified. Amber, at least, is the web. He is number three. He has experience in leadership. He knows that account votes, unlike jim jordan. He also ran the nrcc. And, for me, the most important qualification is that he is not an election denier. And if Everyone Else who threw their hat in the ring, hes the only one who voted to certify the election properly in 2020. Now, that doesnt bode well for him for the matches in the conference, which are dominating this chaos here. They, obviously, want someone who will be a trump lackey. Its the campaign against him, its already begun, weve had sign, another trump that are campaigning that he is not a trump guy. Trump himself complaining hes not my guy. Will this Throw Wrenches . We shall see. This is also what do real jim jordan. People were uncomfortable with having an election denier, given the gavel. So i think we need to keep an eye on the factions within the party that are obviously at war with themselves. The election deniers, and the illiberal populists, versus the semi normally republicans which are few and far between. Matt, lets pick up on something tara was just mentioning. Politico is reporting is that donald trump is not hot on mri speaker, citing his lack of loyalty. His critical comments to trump after january six, surprise, the prize. Does trump have enough sway in congress to obstruct him from becoming speaker . Well, so, far donald trump has demonstrated hes got enough sway among the gop caucus to pick who he wants. Even though its not the whole congress, want to do the country wants. Like what we saw with jim jordan, going back to donald trump. He won the caucus, the gop caucus, and then couldnt get enough votes to become speaker and the whole of congress. I mean, thats the problem today with the gop caucus. I agree with Terrace Assessment of tom emmert. I think tom emmer could be elected speaker if he was to win the caucus vote. The problem is, hes going to have a hard time winning the caucus vote. We have the situation in the gop caucus where its filled with Performance Artists who have no interest in governance. Zero interest in governance. But, then you want a leader who is going to lead congress. When you go in search of a leader, with a bunch of Performance Artists, you dont often find a leader. To, me its akin to a team going out for a quarterback, they have no quarterbacks who actually believe in the rules, who actually like the game, like governing, and who have never thrown a pass. That is not who the gop caucus wants. The gop caucus seems to want, again, a Performance Artist in this. Will tom emmer be able to put together what he has to put together as 110 caucus gop votes in order to get to the floor, not to get democratic votes . I dont know. Donald trump seems to have large and powerful sway over the caucus. If donald trump comes out formally and says no to tom number, i dont see how he gets the votes in the gop caucus. Can we put the pictures of all those people who declared candidates that we showed a moment ago. Mondaire, out of all of those folks you see there, are there, is there anyone who you can imagine democrats could work with . Look, i think democrats stand prepared to work with anyone who is going to work in the best interest of the United States. You know, its worth repeating, how close jim jordan came to been elevated as Speaker Of The House. This is someone who should not even be elected dog catcher. Hes the chief insurrectionist of the United States congress. He wants to defund the fbi, he wants to cut Social Security and medicare. Pass a National Abortion ban. This is who they came about a dozen votes close to making Speaker Of The House. The fact that we dont know whats going to happen next, whats going to happen by the end of this upcoming week, is a very definition of chaos. That is what this republican majority abroad for the United States of america. Where are the socalled moderates, theyre representing districts that biden won in 2020. Well, youve got a guy, for example, named mike lawler, who represents the Hudson Valley district that biden won by a few points. He said that he would be willing to vote for jim jordan of the other votes were there to make that happen. In the meantime, the rest of the world is in flames, right . You have the situation in israel, congress, they cant even mobilize to give our ally what edward needs. Of course we are coming up to this looming government shutdown, this republican manufactured shut crisis, and nothings changed about the same situation a few weeks ago. None of the conditions that they set forth have changed. Were going to be dealing with another Shutdown Crisis in november as we remind every horse. When will they do the work of lowering living cost for the United States of american people. We dont have a house speaker. You mentioned the hundred 50 Billion Dollar age package. Well talk about this after the break. Our conversation with this fabulous panel will continue after this break. After this break if we want a more viable future for our kids, we need to find more sustainable ways of doing things. Americas plastic makers are investing billions of dollars in new technologies and creating Plastic Products that are more recyclable. Durable. And dependable. Our goal is a cleaner, healthier planet for generations to come. For a better tomorrow, were focused on making plastics better today. Were back with my allstar panel. Former congressman, mondaire jones. All right, tara, President Biden, as the congressman mentioned before the break, formally requested 100 and 5 million in aid for israel and ukraine. In this critical moment in the political landscape, is it significant enough for republicans to coalesce and get to work . Well, obviously not so far. They havent been able to get it together. You would think, i mean, just a few years ago, pretrump, this wouldve been a nobrainer. Supporting israel, supporting ukraines fight for their democratic freedom from russia, border security, like these are taiwan, these are pretty bread and butter, easy Foreign Policy issues for republicans to coalesce around. Donald trumps isolationism, and introducing this, you know, america, its not going to help our allies, and upset our global strategic alliances. It is now a hallmark of the republican partys platform, if you want even call it that. So this is another aspect of what is creating this chaos inside the party, because they have no identity. The republicans dont know what they believe. Its like that scene from jerry mcguire, and more marcy says to jerry mcguire, what do you believe . Its like, i see that every single time. I see republicans scattered about, once a one, thing another say in another. Not able to come to a consensus. Something as obvious as supporting our most important allies in israel, and then, obviously, an important ally and ukraine. So i think that President Biden did a fantastic job, he gave a fantastic speech in the oval office, reemphasize americas role in the world is the become a freedom of democracy, and we cant fail. That was a way of him saying to the republican party, to get it together. Not only is this affecting us at home, but its affecting americas standing in the world, in the world depends on us. I dont know if you can see, tara, but the former congressman has been nodding and agreements for almost the entirety of your answer. Congressman jones, pick up on that. Also, yes, totally obvious, but were less than a month away from the november, excuse, me November 17th deadline of government funding. Should we, youve worked with these folks. Should we be expecting another lastminute Stopgap Measure to keep the government open . Or should we be bracing for a shutdown . I think people should brace for a shut down and no one should celebrate that. Its going to devastating consequences for the nation. Well have a lot of people who wont get paid, you know . The cer that republicans had voted for that failed, thankfully, contain 30 cuts on, and i think friday, september 29th, if thats the kind of thing that they put forward, were talking about devastating cuts when it comes to nutritional assistance, access to childcare, that legislation that they passed in late september, that thankfully didnt go anywhere, it would have cut more than 10,000 fbi agents, and so, and so forth. The first thing they have to do is elect a Speaker Of The House in order to pass to another Stopgap Measure. Course, that is no way to conduct the business of the United States. You should be passing a formal appropriations bill, that people can rely on so that you are not governing by crisis every 45 days or something. This is what happens, by the, way when you elect a whole bunch of people who dont believe the government should really exist short of passing tax cuts for really wealthy people. They get, there they try to dismantle the government. Theyre not interested in actually governing. Theyre not interested. Matt, you know, this time next year, voters will be deciding who they want to send back to washington to represent them. This kind of dysfunction continues, do you think republicans will feel repercussions at the ballot box . Well, thats the Million Dollar question in the course of this. I mean, we are seeing both now where the races for congress are competitive. The race for the president of the United States is competitive. And we have a house caucus i, mean i actually think the majority of the house gop caucus today actually welcomes a government shutdown. As mondaire was saying, they dont believe in it. Why wouldnt they . They would welcome not another dollar going to ukraine. They would welcome, you know, the fire keeps burning in the middle east, and its not only affecting israel, its affecting more than 2 million palestinians in the midst of this. I think when you have a caucus that actually, that actually gets elected not to lead but to do all of the crazy chaotic things thats on their illicit enunciated, and thats where we end up in this. But the problem is that the american peoples responsibility now. We can have this conversation which i think is very important. But in the end, its gonna be 100 million plus americans, 140 americans next year that are gonna decide, is this the kind of country we want to live in . And is this what we want government to do . And its right now, i dont know if its gonna be competitive next november. But right now, it is incredibly competitive. But whatever the result of the election is, it is the american peoples responsibility to decide what they want Going Forward in their country. Matthew dowd, former congressman mondaire jones, tara setmayer, thank you all very much for coming to the sunday show. And coming up the many trials of donald trump. This week, back to court in new york with 250 Million Dollar Civil Fraud Trial when his former Attorney Michael Cohen is expected to testify against him. We will talk about it with attorney charles junior, after the break. American infrastructure. Megawatts of power, rails and open road, and essential services of every kind. All running on countless invisible networks, making it a prime target for cyberattacks. But the same aipowered security that protects all of google also defends the systems running americas infrastructure. For these services. For the 336 million of us living here. The virus that causes shingles is sleeping. In 99 of people over 50. Its lying dormant, waiting. And could reactivate. Shingles strikes as a painful, blistering rash that can last for weeks. And it could wake at any time. Think youre not at risk for shingles . Its time to wake up. Because shingles could wake up in you. If youre over 50, talk to your doctor or pharmacist about shingles prevention. This tuesday and wednesday, the twice impeached, four times indicted on 91 counts former President Donald Trump will return to a new york courtroom for his 250 Million Dollar Civil Fraud Trial. On tuesday, his former Attorney Michael Cohen will be there to testify against his former boss. The faceoff comes after the judge presiding over that trial file and trump 5,000 for a, quote, Blatant Violation of a gag order, warning that any future violations could hold harsher punishments, including jail time. Joining me now, Charles Coleman junior, msnbc legal analyst, civil rights attorney, former brooklyn prosecutor, and host of the Charles Coleman podcast. Charles, thanks for being here. I dont think ive ever not seen you in a suit. [laughter] ill just put that out there. But we have to talk about some serious stuff. About that gag order violation, how serious is the judge the judges threats to jail trump if he violates the gag order again. Hes already fined him 5,000. The judge is very serious about the future penalties, should donald trump continue to push the envelope with respect to the gag order. I think that 5000 dollar fine itself was symbolic, but its important to acknowledge this isnt the first time we have the question answered, what happened if donald trump continues to do what youve been doing the entire time, which is basically ignore previous warnings from various judges and various cases about his online activity, attacking Different Court officials. And so, its important to understand that even though the 5,000 may not seem like much, what the judge is doing, she is setting the stage to move forward with additional problems of donald trump doesnt comply. Now, the Courtroom Showdown between Michael Cohen and donald trump, thats tuesday. What will you be watching for . Well, we know what Michael Cohen is going to say because Michael Cohen has not been particularly bashful about talking to the news. I dont necessarily expect that donald trump is going to have much of a reaction in the courtroom, given everything that weve seen. But i am going to be watching for, given what we are just talking about, any comments that donald trump decides to make on social media about Michael Cohen as a witness in this case because that is something that is going to provide a lot of things, as to the judges willingness to backup what he previously said about trump violating future orders. Its also going to be very telling as it relates to Donald Trumps other orders in d. C. As you know, judge chutkan put a hold on her decision to issue a gag order in the case in the sea. But answers like this only give further fuel to the argument that donald trump has to put out a gag order on him as a defined in this case. Otherwise, he will use this platform. Thats the biggest thing im gonna be watching for. Sensitively, i dont expect many surprises from Michael Cohen. Lets turn your attention to georgia and the Georgia Election interference case, were two of trumps former attorns, enneth chesebro and sidneypoll, they both pled guilty to unrelated charges and agreed to testify against other defendants. If you were donald trump, how scared would you be right now . Absolutely. This is not a good time for donald trump as a defendant. And i think the people have to recall, these are people who have not never been in these situations, meaning you have 19 people, most of whom if not all have never been arrested before. We have never faced this type of pressure in terms of the prosecution. What that means is that its going to result ultimately in a lot of people, throwing people under the bus, and thats what you are seeing happening. We are going to see these please continue to take place although i suspect that the bargains that fani Willis Office are going to be willing to make are not going to be as great as we go forward because there is less incentive. What i expect is a barrage of pleads to be made within the next few weeks by just those defendants. And if im donald trump, this is a gravely concerning. So, this is one case that ive always said, donald trump has to have on the top of his radar. And now we see why because fani willis has the ability with this r. I. C. O. Case to bring in more and more defendants that have more information about him, put them, and then create a stronger case against the former president.
