Im katy tur, nbc news is reporting three convoys, that appear to be evacuees were hit by israeli strikes in gaza, according to the Israeli Health ministry. 70 people are dead. Only an hour ago, the idf said an extensive attack against military targets within gaza was underway. This morning, israel dropped thousands of leaflets in the north of the strip warning civilians to go south. Quote, gaza city has turned into a battlefield. Leave your homes immediately read those flyers. The idf told gaza City Residents they would refrain from touching an Evacuation Route until 8 00 p. M. That was just about two hours ago. Quote, no one knows where were going, One Gaza Resident told nbc news, but were ready to run. Joining us now from tyre, lebanon, is nbc news chief Foreign Correspondent Matt Bradleyment thank you for being with us. I know were going to start at the north end of this. But tell me whats been happening there today . Everyone is still very concerned about the opening of a second front. Reporter yeah, this is a big, and of course when it comes to the opening of a second front, that would be with hezbollah, the Dominant Military Force here in southern lebanon. Hezbollah is backed by iran, and they havent weighed in fully into the conflict. They did say in a Statement Today they were fully prepared to do so. They rejected the urging of western governments to stay out of the conflict, and we got other ominous signals. Yesterday we heard that the Foreign Minister of iran, again, the main benefactor of hamas and hezbollah, financially, politically, and in terms of training, he was actually in beirut, and he gave a Press Conference last night and today. The iranian embassy, and he didnt answer the question of whether hezbollah was going to be entering into the fight. I spoke with a hezbollah Member Of Parliament here today in southern lebanon. I asked him about President Bidens speech, and about President Biden parking naval assets right off the coast, right here, and i got to tell you, katy, the lights are going off. This is lebanon. This is the situation. And this is kind of part of it. And were seeing flares off my right shoulder here. This is a dicey situation, and the reason why so many lebanese people dont want to go into this war is because of the situation like this, where were under constant blackouts. Theres been a fouryearlong economic crisis that have seen backouts like this. The currency has tanked. Poverty is something at like 80 , and thats why even if hezbollah does decide to go into war, there are a huge number of lebanese people who will be dragged kicking and screaming along with it. They feel they cant afford hezbollahs war with israel. They all remember 2006 when there was that war with hezbollah and israel where it devastated the southern part of the country. It killed around 1,500 lebanese, the vast majority of them were civilians. Hundreds of Israeli Soldiers were killed in that war. No one wants a repeat of that. Even though there is a lot of sympathy and solidarity with the Palestinian People here, and we saw that today on this day of rage that saw protests throughout, you know, here and lebanon and iraq, in jordan where we saw an enormous protest, in yemen. This is a collective coming together of the arab world with the palestinians as the israelis marshal their forces to move to the gaza strip. When it comes to war, theres an appetite in the arab world. In lebanon, its a reluctant appetite. They dont want to have to carry the burden of the entire region once again fighting against israel. Katy. Let me ask you, matt, about what happened to a reuters videographer. We have just confirmed that this person died along the border. What can you tell us . Reporter obviously this has been gutting for me and my colleagues because he was a colleague. And i didnt know him personally. But the fact is that some of my colleagues did know him personally. He was someone who worked in The Middle East for a long time, and this is just awful for all of us here. This death, it just goes to show the risks that we all put ourselves under when we go down to the border area. Right behind me, towards israel, and that my colleagues in israel and in the gaza strip face every single day when theyre doing this reporting. We also heard from hezbollah there were other deaths, among al jazeera, those are not confirmed. We understand this was basically there was shelling back and forth between the israelis and the lebanese. We understand that from hezbollah that this was the israelis who had attacked a position that was being filmed by this reuters photographer and by his colleagues and that he was killed in that conflagration. We dont have any more details beyond that. Reuters says theyre launching an investigation. Ive got to tell you, katy, this is deeply sad for myself and my colleagues here, and something we are mindful of when we go into these risky situations, katy. It is really so awful. Im so sorry, matt, and please give everybody our condolences out there, its just really tough. And joining us now from northern israel is nbc news Foreign Correspondent josh lederman. So, josh, what can you tell us about the diplomatic efforts happening today . Reporter weve seen really a flurry of visits by top u. S. Officials to the region as they are trying to contain this crisis, trying to prevent it from going any bigger, other groups hezbollah. Secretary of state blinken is in qatar, he discussed how the u. S. Is creating safe zones. Given the fact that it is basically impossible for civilians to get out, including 5 to 6,000 americans in the gaza strip. They are looking to find places that are safe within the gaza strip. As you mentioned with the reporting of 70 civilians in convoys of evacuees being struck now dead. Its very difficult for gazans to figure out how to get to safety. We heard from defense secretary lloyd austin whos here in israel today about what the u. S. Is doing to shore up. Take a listen. At President Bidens direction we have moved urgently to respond to this crisis and to send a strong message of deterrence. The uss gerald r. Ford Carrier Strike group is now in the region. Led by the largest Aircraft Carrier in the world. We have augmented u. S. Fighter aircraft squadrons in The Middle East, and the u. S. Department of defense stands fully ready to deploy additional assets if necessary. Reporter and, katy, in the last few hours, the first Charter Plane Organized by the u. S. Government has left israel heading to europe. We know the u. S. Is organizing these flights both to frankfurt and to athens, greece, as well as boats that are leaving from right here heading to cypress so that americans who are in israel cant get commercial flights home, given that barely any airline is flying out of here right now. They can at least get to another destination in europe where they can book a commercial flight home. It speaks to how on edge people are about their own safety as we see this some 2 Million People in the gaza strip who are fearing for their safety tonight. I can tell you, its been hard to book flights out of there from experience. Theres no word, no official word, direct word from the u. S. Government about what theyre about to do about the 500 to 600 Palestinian Americans who were currently trapped in gaza. There was one line at the end of the email, asking everyone to register, and telling them to be ready to go within eight hours. The one line at the bottom of the email says if youre in gaza, let us know. Josh lederman, thank you very much. Reporter hey, katy, we moved a little further back from our location where we were earlier because we were told by Israeli Forces that we needed to get a little bit back because there was a lot of activity going on directly where we were. We still can hear and see the booms and the bombardment that is happening inside of gaza where we were before. It was just a constant glow across the skyline as things continue to escalate there. While we were reporting, as i was describing, that we hadnt seen any rockets in quite a while, trump, hamas, they started to fire over our heads as we were standing there. We know right now that the idf dropped leaflets over parts of gaza, telling palestinians in the northern part, about 1 million palestinians that they need to try to move south. We were just listening to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu speak. It was surprising that he was giving a speech today given that it is the sabbath. In that he did not say that the Ground Offensive has started but talked about looking ahead and what they intend to do. I spoke to an idf spokesperson and asked is it fair that were characterizing the Ground Assault is imminent. We are clear on our intent, we plan to do what we need to do to get hamas militants, their ultimate goal is to ensure hamas no longer exists, functions, and can no longer carry out attacks like the Terrorist Attacks they saw take place in israel on saturday. But for the people inside of gaza, palestinians, there are civilians there who have nowhere to go. The Border Crossing in the northern part of gaza, Eraz Crossing is closed. Israel says its because hamas bombed it over the weekend when they launched their initial Terrorist Attacks that started all of this, they abducted some. They say thats the reason the Border Crossing isnt open but nowhere else is open either. Theres a Border Crossing that leads to egypt, thats not open in any sense for people to evacuate in an emergency situation. Theres no humanitarian corridors, no green zone, and when i asked the idf spokesperson if they would be open to having conversations or support if egypt were to open a safe passage for civilians, his answer was i cannot comment on diplomatic discussions. He reiterated they believe hamas is responsible for their citizens inside of gaza for the palestinians there, and that this is a war and a situation that hamas has created. Katy . And the idf has said today there are currently boots on the ground inside of gaza. Not a ground incursion. There are soldiers there. They have been there for 24 hours, and theyre executing missions, they said, but also looking for those hostages. No word, though on whether they have been able to find any of them. Explain what you mean by that . Well, since netanyahu took office, specifically in recent years, the agenda, it was not a written or declared agenda, but everybody understood the agenda was to bring money in into the hamas hands in gaza, the people who gave the money were the qatari, israel turned a blind eye to that, basically agreeing in a way. We all knew the money goes into rockets and other things. They say and they assumed that every other year, maybe once in two years or three years, were going to have a military operation. Were going to deter them with military might, and then they will be quiet for another two or three years, and this is the case since 2009, since netanyahu took office. Nobody expected this to blow up like that, and obviously netanyahu is the leader since then, and he propped up hamas in other ways as well. He wanted so bad to weaken the Palestinian Authority president , Mahmoud Abbas or as we call it abumazan, they wanted him very weak. In order to weaken him, they ignored him. They didnt give him any kind of public acknowledgment for anything, even though through the years, not all of the time, but through the years, Mahmoud Abbas was fighting terror inside the Palestinian Authority in the west bank. But instead of acknowledging that or maybe helping him in a better way, they just ignored him, brought him down to his knees and on the other hand, made sure the hamas is still in power because they kept on saying, if the hamas fails or falls, who will be next. Were going to have a worse terror organization, which it might be true, but, you know, so, i mean, and the hamas just, they fooled everybody. Its funny to say they fooled because obviously this is terror organizations, but, for example, netanyahu allowed back channels or indirect talks with hamas. Obviously maybe had no choice, but at the same time, you cannot let them be as they were. Its not, again, it wasnt formal announcement. Obviously netanyahu denies it, but we do have people from his circle or we have not direct quotes but things that we know he said indoors. You have through the years as Senior Member of his cabinet, the Finance Minister said those things on record. Hamas is an asset, Palestinian Authority is a burden. He said that. When he said that, he was not a minister. But this was his agenda. And he now sits in government. Netanyahus people were saying it was on media and so on. It blew up in our faces. We had Prime Minister on saying this was basically public knowledge. Let me ask you about his leadership. The country is united in grief and anger, is the country united behind Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu . Its not. We just had a poll yesterday with devastating results for netanyahu. Let me remind you that we entered the situation with five election cycles in four years. Netanyahu wasnt able to win, but lastly, on the fifth election cycle a year ago, he won, he took power with a very extreme government. He entered a minister who was convicted eight times in inciting terror against arabs. People did not believe in the government. There were demonstrations against them, day after day for ten months because of the judicial overhaul, the crew, to strip the Supreme Court of powers. Its not in my imagination. They put bills forward, stripping out the Supreme Court from power, you know, not all of the powers, but some of them, and people were furious of that. And military, they came up to netanyahu, and they told him, all of your actions are tearing the country. You cannot, you know, the Security Situation is dire. You cannot be in a torn society while, you know, while doing these steps. And didnt listen. Right now, you see huge, furious, i mean, people are its unbelievable. You know, the communities down in the south, its all farmers, simple people, the kibitz is villages, agricultural communities. Theyre devastated. Its entire region wiped out. Obviously theres a huge backlash and anger at netanyahu, and we already see it in the polls. I dont know to tell you. I dont know how to tell you, we dont have elections. Im not expecting any elections. We have known netanyahu for years, hes not the one to take the blame or responsibility for anything. Truly its not a good situation here. Its super hard, and you recently said everybody is losing, its a vicious circle of blood with no end in sight. Tal, im going to have to leave the conversation there. Thank you so much for joining us. Efforts to get humanitarian aid into gaza are complicated by the fact that hamas continues to use innocent civilians as human shields. And is reportedly blocking roads to prevent palestinians from moving to Southern Gaza out of harms way. Civilians, of course, should not be the target of military operations. They are not the target of israeli operations. They are very deliberately the target of hamass actions. My next guest argues that for israel, this war will be unlike any other war that they have fought. Writing in the atlantic, he poin out that at the time of the97 Yom Kippur War with yp that countrys president sought peace. Hamass leaders, right now, seek genocide. Joining us now is former israeli ambassador to the u. S. And former member of the knesset, michael warren. Ambassador, thank you for joining us. There is argument it will be quite difficult and could potentially not happen. If they are successful, what takes its place . Well, you can kill hamas leaders, you can uproot hamas, but you cant kill the idea of hamas. And i want to be very clear about that. The idea of hamas is the same idea behind isis, behind al qaeda, the idea of destroying israel. Only in the very first stage, The Middle East and eventually the world, and transforming it into a global caliphate. That is the ideology or the theology which links all of these groups. That cannot be achieved by Military Means. It cant be achieved by Military Means in iraq, it cant be achieved by Military Means in gaza. We can gain security certainly by Uprooting Hamas and our soldiers going alley to alley, tunnel to tunnel. Theyre deeply embedded underground and removing the missiles and the offense capabilities of hamas. Hamas will spring up again, not just in gaza or judah ya, it will spring out in The Middle East. To combat that, that will require a longterm concerted effort by democracies, other likeminded countries in the world to invest in development, to invest in education, to provide world view which is nonviolent and tolerant, particularly to young people throughout the entire middle east. Unfortunately, no one has taken it very very seriously. We thought, you know, the Military Option is only the first option, not the last. That sounds right. Its something that america has been trying to do or was trying to do around The Middle East. It doesnt work. It hasnt worked without the full support of middle Eastern Countries to directly help, and you know, theyre not all friends. Thats absolutely true, and you know, something that hasnt worked, but i havent seen the effort. Ive seen, again, resort to Military Option, and we have no choice but to resort to Military Options. We have to defend ourselves. Theres no question about it. Israel has the right and duty to send our army into gaza to fight hamas. Thats not going to uproot hamas elsewhere. It will in many ways degrade hamass military capabilities. Thats true. But the idea is still going to be there, and its going to threaten not just israel, but all of civilization, and make no mistake about it, the battle that we are fighting in gaza today not just about gaza. Its not principally about gaza. Its about fighting for civilization, against an idea thats antithetical to everything that civilization stands for, and we have to internalize and understand thats the nature of the battle. Its hezbollah, its iranbacked militias in syria. Its iran itself. Were up against dont make the mistake, its very formidable. This is not a small caliber of enemy, it is a very major enemy, and its antithetical to everything this Station Stands for, everything you stand for, everything that i cherish here, we cherish in israel, our liberties, our democracy, with all the fractiousness about it. Our childrens rights, womens rights, gay rights, all of these rights, this is antithetical, and we have to be aware of that. Its very important. People want to distinguish hamas from other heinous ideologies and organizations, but theyre not. Go be a gay person in gaza, go be a trans person in gaza, see what happens to you. Be a woman who wants to, you know, go out on a date with somebody, really, that kind of thing. Go see what happens to you, and understand that this is the nature of the threat, and it is a huge threat, and it is a global threat. Its not just gaza. What about the Israeli Government . What does it look like after this . Is it still netanyahu with the far right . Were always saying, its too early to start pointing fingers. Im going to put on my historian hat. Wars have been less successful, 2006 lebanon war, i participated in the investigation of that war afterward. The Chief Of Staff was forced to resign, the Defense Minister was forced to resign. Nobody is above taking responsibility in this country, and im sure that responsibility for this failure, and certainly we can say this is a failure. Our Chief Of Staff came out yesterday and said it was a failure. The Israeli Government the way its formed right now is extremely against the idea of a palestinian state, and its more extreme. In some of those ministers against palestinians and arabs, period. Thats obviously created a real divide within the country. Does that sort of government, that government that is hostile towards arabs remain . Right now, we have a National Unity government. You have a national war cabinet. Its also the government. The major opposition part is part of the coalition, and people in the party, i know them quite well, serve with them in the knesset, have a different range of views. Some may be in favor of a palestinian state. I will say this that gazas war on us, hamass war with us has put another very large nail in the coffin of the Peace Process, and im speaking as someone who has been involved in this Peace Process for 30 years. I was an adviser in 1993 when the oslo process started and i participated in the last round of negotiations with the palestinians. And so i have come to many conclusions about this process, but i know for certain that that process cant go anywhere unless it has support. Unless it has popular support, and what many israelis are saying, including israelis i know who may be left of center, well, you know we withdrew from gaza in 2005 ambassador, im so sorry to interrupt you. President biden is speaking on this, and were going to listen real fast. Including at least 27 americans. These guys make al qaeda look pure. Theyre pure evil. I said from the beginning. The United States, make no mistake about it, stands with israel. [ applause ] the United States stands with israel. Secretary of state blinken was in israel today. Were making sure israel has the needs to defend itself and respond to these attacks. Its a priority to address the humanitarian crisis in gaza. At my direction, our teams are working in the region, including communicating with the governments of the israel, egypt, jordan and other arab nations and the United Nations to serve support and humanitarian consequences in the hamas attack to help israel. We cant lose sight of the fact that the overwhelming majority of palestinians had nothing to do with hamas, and hamass appalling attacks and theyre suffering as a result as well. This morning, i spoke with the Family Members of all those americans who are still unaccounted for on a zoom call for about an hour and ten, fifteen minutes. Theyre going through agony, not knowing what the status of their sons, daughters, husbands, wives, children are. You know, its gut wrenching. I assured them my personal commitment to do Everything Possible, Everything Possible to return every missing american to their families. Were working around the clock to secure their release. Its passion with him, and i think that passion came out in his speech, and tony blinken talking about his stepfather was a holocaust survivor, his grandfather was a holocaust survivor, all intensely personal, and for us its internally personal, because all of us know people who have been killed, kidnapped, tortured, we are listening nonstop to the stories as they come out. Today i was on Israeli Television sitting next to a gentleman who was part of the First Responders team, who came into the kibbutz communities that were massacred. I have been dealing with Terrorist Attacks since the early 2000s, i have seen bus bombings, school bombings, restaurant bombings, nothing compared to what i saw there short of cannibalism, these terrorists committed every possible atrocities to bodies of these residents. This week, the white house says its going to ask for more aid for israel. Legislating on either one of those issues is impossible because right now there is no speaker of the house. Are they voting right now . Reporter katy, heres hoping that thats about to change, in terms of actually installing a speaker of the house. Right now, we know that they got back in the room about 3 15, after a short break. They were going to do nominating speeches for the two men officially running. Of course thats judiciary chair jim jordan, and georgia congressman, austin scott. After those nominating speeches, then were going to see them go to a Secret Ballot. Its going to take time to collect the ballots and tally them up. Were all actively waiting at this point for what that tally actually shows. Its widely presumed that jordan is going to win here, but the majority by which he wins is going to be really important, especially when you consider What Happens Next. Theres a lot of pressure. Including from the former speaker, kevin mccarthy, who talked to me as he walked into this room, and i asked if he thought that jordan should go to the floor no matter what if he wins behind these closed doors, he said, yes, you got to see what happens when members have to put their names to these votes. That is something republicans have been reticent to do because they want to avoid the embarrassment that mccarthy had to go through. You have jim j and austin scott. I dont think anyone knows who austin scott is. Who is this guy . Hes aack pincher, you know, hes part of the georgia delegation, obviously. Hes outshined by his colleague, Marjorie Taylor greene who sucks the oxygen out of the room for members like him. While its important that a lot of republicans like myself that this process unfolds quickly and someone be put forward to the body, full body for a vote. Its a bigger reflection of just how fractured the Republican Party has become, and how difficult it is for leadership to emerge because the constituencies that would normally align arent there anymore. Certainly not in any numbers that would generate the kind of energy that you could take to the floor. So former Speaker Mccarthy is right. Youve got to put this out there and put the pressure by having obvious and physical balloting, meaning youve got to raise your hand up and everybody has to make a note publicly where you stand, and maybe that loosens it, but at the end of the day, youre still back to the same problem. If he wins, either of these gentlemen win, what do they do next . Because biden and the democrats are sitting there waiting. Weve got iran and iraq, iran in israel, weve got ukraine, weve got a budget, what do you guys want to do, and thats where its going to be even more difficult. Are you surprised that the conflict in israeli hasnt sped up this process . I think the anticipation was that republicans were going to swiftly get a speaker installed so that they could deal with an aid package, especially given how vocally supportive republicans are for the state of israel. Im actually for once not surprised that the events this israel have not sped up this process because, again, it goes back to my first point, just how deep those fractures are within the party. And the traditional alliances that we always stood by arent as strong as they once were. While theres vocal support for israel, obviously, you have members sitting there going, yes, but we also want support for ukraine. Youve got certain members who are leveraging ukraine against israel, which creates a different degree of tension. So you dont have that kind of unanimity of effort and a push outward to, a, stand with the president in the global decisions that hes got to make there, but, b, reaffirm the partys loyalty to a long time ally in a way that people would rally. Can i ask a prediction, does the government get funded in 30plus days . I think it does, and i think it probably will come at the head of the new speaker. So another motion to vacate right after . There may be another motion, but more importantly youre going to have a lot of griping and groaning from the cheap seats about the process and the deep state taking over once again and having its will. Instead in doha today, Secretary Of State Antony Blinken advocated for safe zones within gaza but he admitted that might not be possible. My next guest is a palestinian studying in massachusetts. I last heard from them 22 hours ago. And where were they . They are in Refugee Camps. Its just, as you know gaza has eight Refugee Camps. Where on the strip is that . Is that in the north or is it in the south . The middle of gazstrip. You can see here theres i can see here exactly on your map, but it is in the middle area of the gaza strip. The gaza strip, the middle a re camp and its one of the Refugee Camps inside the middle of the gaza strip. So we have gaza city and the north of gaza, the people are today from the south. And they are going to gaza city. Then they are leaving to the middle area and to the south of gaza strip. Thats why its just very crowded areas that you can see from the cars that people are driving like 70 people have been killed while they were moving south of gaza strip. Do they have somewhere to go to be safe. Is there a place they normally go in a time where they can find shelter and safety, relative safety . Theres no specific place in sgaz. I have been in gaza, i lived all my life in gaza. Theres no safe place in gaza. The only way that they can go to the United Nations agency to sleep actually and classes, this is only way, but we are talking about more than 250,000 displaced people. Were talking about huge displacement from the south of gaza strip. So i think there was no specific place in gaza for awhile. This is not the only time that we are talking about like a child in gaza experienced five wars in the last 16 years. We are talking about ongoing trauma. Why not talk about ongoing trauma for the last 16 years. Any child that experienced five wars, we are talking about crippling siege for the last 16 years. Thats why you can see this is not whats going on. Against the People Living in gaza, they are not able to travel outside of gaza. They are not able to just to live a life. Its to live a life. I cant imagine myself like when i was in gaza. You have to drive all over gaza to find divers. So this has been going on for the last 16 years. And the situation is extremely who rent souz dous. The situation is not that easy. As you heard and everyone knew about it, theres no shelter, no fuel in gaza, but also mostly important, there are people would have hard issues. Thats why were extremely terrified about our people. And now they are really in a mess. Egypt said its gathering supplies and humanitarian supplies including sploois hoping to get it into gaza, the u. N. Has been urging israel to allow that to happen. Senate majority leader chuck schumer, the highest ranked jewish official in the United States is headed to israel this weekend, where he will lead a bipartisan delegation in meetings with israels new wartime cabinet. Schumer promises to get israel the military and humanitarian assistance it needs, and he says he will work toward the goal of Freeing American hostages. But with war threatening to engulf the entire region, its important to remember that the senate has yet to confirm a u. S. Ambassador to israel. I have no doubt that the senate will confirm jack lou quickly. I i think his scheduled hearing is next week. Im sure this is a bipartisan decision. This is an ability for the country to come together. We need an ambassador on the ground. Hes unbelievely qualified for the job. No doubt he will the get through quickly and hopefully will get there within days, maybe a week and a half at the latest. But im confident he will get confirmed by a bipartisan majority of the u. S. Senate. What is the possibility of negotiating the release of the hostages, maybe just the american hostages, if the americans have to focus on just one thing . We have to step back. As we all know, you have been covering this nonstop. Our hearts break. Hamas is doing exactly what they wanted to accomplish. They want to try to break the backs of the israeli people. They are not going to succeed at that. The israeli people are strong as ever and ultimately, hamas doesnt care about the Carnage Theft they have left. Now its happening in gaza. I think the President Biden said a minute ago on your show, 97 or 94 or 98 of gazaens living there, just want to live. They dont want this, hamas is unbelievably unpopular in gaza. But this is a group of people who dont care. They have a view thats basically destroyed the state of israel and knew exactly what the reaction would be. If thousands and thousands of poor palestinians lose their lives, their view thats the price. And that isnt the price. So i hope that we free all the hostages there. I have been on the phone constantly with my friends who have family and friends that are kidnapped. Its like think about this for a minute. Its like 9 11, but it would be that every american, like 350 americans had a relative who died in the twin towers. Thats what israel is going through. Ever single person, leftist, rightist, religious, nonreligious, are now suffering collectively in that country. And i just it breaks my heart. I was just watching the segment before. I feel sorry that he cant find his family. It breaks my heart. This is not what should be happening. And i hope we can solve this as soon as possible. The u. N. Is begging israel to not force this evacuation in the north. They said its going to make this humanitarian crisis into a catastrophe. Its going to be even worse. They are also begging for israel to allow aid to come in, medical supplies to help the civilians who are caught up in all of this. Why would israel not do that . Would america be on the side of urmging for that sort of relief . I think you obviously heard the president obviously cares deeply about the humanity part of this. Hes Deunderstand Noed the behavior and the atrocities that hamas committed on the israeli people. None of us want to see these innocent people get killed. Obviously, at the right point, the u. S. Will do everything it can to protect people to make sure that peoples lives are not harmlessly hurt, but this sole ly is on the footsteps or the doorsteps of hamas. They knew what they were doing. They knew what the consequences were. They have no regard for human life. And it should awaken up in the world. How do you get regional partners on hamas . The region is erupting in protests that are for palestinians and against not just israel, but against jews. The israelis have plenty of friends in the region. Not only in The Middle East countries have obviously express ed concerns for the palestinians, but also understand that this is not, none of these countries like hamas. The president of the Palestinian Authority has no regard for hamas. Cant stand hamas. What people need to understand is hamas itself is a terrorist, jihadist organization.
