Manila Mayor Francisco” Isko Moreno” Domagoso led the opening of the housing project and about 229 units will be given to 229 families.
“Ang gusto ko ay makapamuhay kayo ng maayos (I want you to live well),” Domagoso said,
“Kailangang sabay tugunan ng pamahalaan ang pangangalaga sa kalusugan at pangangalaga sa kabuhayan ng tao (The government must address health care and human livelihood protection at the same time),” he added.
In December, 2020, the city government broke ground for the Basecommunity which aims to provide decent and affordable housing to residents in the city, particularly the poor.
