More people have died with coronavirus in East Lancashire's hospitals than anywhere else in county
More people have died with the coronavirus in hospitals across East Lancashire than in any other Trust in the whole county.
A total of 762 people have lost their lives in either Blackburn or Burnley hospitals within 28 days of testing positive for the virus, since the pandemic began in March last year.
New data released on Friday afternoon showed that another 28 people in Lancashire had lost their lives due to complications with the coronavirus, with the number of people to have died with Covid-19 at hospitals within East Lancashire increasing by 12, up from 750 on Thursday.
