Monument Police searching for bank robbery suspects

MONUMENT â On Tuesday, Feb. 2, a bank robbery occurred at First Bank on W Baptist Rd in Monument.
Monument Police said two people entered the bank and slipped notes demanding money to two bank tellers. They never displayed weapons or threatened the tellers.
The two suspects were given the money and then walked to a vehicle in the parking lot.
Police said security camera footage from the bank shows the suspects appear to be white or Hispanic adult males, likely in their 20s. They appear to be between 5'8" and 5'10". The vehicle they left in is a light gray or light silver 2010 Toyota Avalon, police said.
