Missing man mystery solved, police release identity of human remains found near Killaloe

KILLALOE — DNA testing has confirmed that human remains found by hunters over two years in the Township of Killaloe, Hagarty and Richards are those of a Killaloe resident missing for nearly eight years.
On April 12, the Ontario Provincial Police said DNA analysis has confirmed the remains are those of Robert John Thompson who was reported missing in May of 2013.

A news release issued by the OPP says that police have deemed this incident as non-suspicious.
