EVANSVILLE, Minn. — Derrell Nitz knew that, for him, COVID-19 was no joking matter. The Evansville, Minn., man's age and health were against him.
“I’m 85, with COPD," his daughter, Julie Carlson, recalled him saying. "If I get this, this is probably a death sentence to me."
