DETROIT – Welcome to Friday night, Motown.
It becomes chillier Friday night but not as cold as it has been the past few. Three planets have a good chance of being visible before dawn. Milder air blows in on a southerly wind Saturday and it will be milder. Easter Sunday will be warmer and higher than average temps are due next week with a few rain showers.
Friday night will be clear and cold. Bundle up before going outdoors to view Mars in the west-northwestern sky before midnight or Saturn and Jupiter in the southeastern sky between 5:30 a.m. and 7 a.m. Remember to bring the pets indoors, make sure furnaces are working and grab an extra blanket. Overnight lows will be in the 20s.
