Remember the 80's when highlighting was done by pulling skinny strands of hair through a rubber cab before dousing them with peroxide? Thankfully the cap was short lived as foils became a less destructive way to lighten and brighten tired-looking locks.
Well, now there's a new smart hair colouring technique called Shatush, pioneered by colourist, Dominico Casella at Neville Hair & Beauty.
While foils are still the mainstream way to highlight hair, the end result can sometimes appear stripey and old fashioned. Shatush, however, is a free-hand method, similar to Balyeage, that highlights hair in the places the sun naturally hits for a childlike hair glow.
