Medetomidine and nitazenes, two new drug additives, showing up in Philly

A veterinary drug similar to xylazine, medetomidine, turned up in two samples of fentanyl in Philadelphia, and a Montgomery County resident died of an overdose involving the synthetic opioid nitazene.
