Jamaican Carey McLeod.
Jamaican Carey McLeod secured a medal in his NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships debut on the second day of competition inside the Randal Tyson Track Center in Arkansas, the USA on Friday.
The 22-year-old McLeod placed third in the men's long jump.
Formerly of Kingston College (KC), and now a junior at the University of Tennessee, McLeod logged a personal-best leap of 8.26 meters to score six points for the Vols at the national meet. The mark improved his school record from two weeks ago at the SEC Championships by one centimetre and currently ranks McLeod as the No. 5 long jumper in the world during the 2020-21 indoor campaign.
