McLaughin announces run for Pa. Supreme Court

Her bid comes three years after she won her Superior Court seat.
“My candidacy shines a light on the endless possibilities open to little girls and young women everywhere who come from humble beginnings,” McLaughlin said.
McLaughlin is a former Philadelphia prosecutor and Philadelphia County judge. She is a 1988 graduate of Penn State University and earned her law degree from the Delaware Law School of Widener University in 1992.
The Supreme Court seat currently held by Chief Justice Thomas G. Saylor will be on the ballot next year.
