Three May River High School students have been charged with spray-painting racial slurs and swastikas at a Hardeeville hotel, police said this week.
"Three juveniles were charged with burglary second degree and malicious injury to property on Feb. 9," Hardeeville Police Chief Sam Woodward said. "The juveniles did a lot of spray-painting and used racial slurs. We do not know why they chose this location. The hotel was under construction when this happened and there was about $4,000 in damages done to the property."
