Starting Friday, New Yorkers 60 and older won't need an appointment if they want to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
That's because they'll be able to walk-in and get vaccinated at 16 mass-vaccination sites run by the state, including ones at Crossgates Mall in Guilderland and the Washington Avenue Armory in Albany. People will still need to bring identification and be able to provide health insurance information. Wait times at each location are going to vary depending on how many people show up.
