Maryland men’s lacrosse seniors Nick Grill and Logan Wisnauskas earned weekly honors from the Big Ten Tuesday.
Grill was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week, making him the first player in Big Ten history to earn the title three consecutive weeks in a row. Grill was a key factor in the Terps’ win over No. 20 Johns Hopkins last Saturday, causing three turnovers and picking up four ground balls.
Wisnauskas was named the Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week for the fourth time in his career. He earned the honor after tallying a career-high nine points (two goals, seven assists) against the Blue Jays, which is tied for the fifth-most points in a game in school history. Wisnauskas’ career-high seven assists are also the second most in a game in program history.
