MANGALURU: Mangaluru city corporation (MCC) officials have resumed drive against mask and social distancing violations in the city.
This time, a team of officials visited various function halls, shopping malls and other places where people gather in large numbers.
“We have carried out drives at many places in the city to ensure that people follow the Covid-19 norms. We have been receiving complaints about people not following norms in public places, especially during weddings and other ceremonies.
Hence, we have visited various halls and shopping malls on Thursday and Friday. We have noticed that people have been participating in programmes without wearing masks and no social distancing is followed,” said Madhu Manohar, environment engineer, MCC.
