Manchester Select Board appoints Laurie Kunz to fill empty seat

MANCHESTER — The Select Board appointed Laurie Kunz to fill the vacant seat on the board at its meeting Tuesday.
Kunz will fill the vacant spot created when Todd Nebraska stepped down March 19 because he and his family were moving out of Manchester.
The board has operated with just four members for the past two months as they sought a replacement.
The board held interviews with candidates recently and Select Board chair Ivan Beattie said he was impressed with all of the candidates and hoped those not chosen would perhaps stay engaged and consider service in another capacity.
