Robinson reportedly boasted about the crime as he was committing it on his Snapchat account, saying at one point, “These guys have never made a Molotov. ... Rookies.”
“Mr. Robinson chose to depart from lawful protest and instead engaged in violence and destruction,” acting U.S. Attorney Anders Folk said about the case. “The arson at the Minneapolis Police Department’s 3rd Precinct put lives at risk and contributed to widespread lawlessness in Minneapolis.”
