Medics performed CPR on a man who was taken to the hospital Thursday morning after a single-car accident in Dededo, according to police and fire officials.
The crash occurred at 8:01 a.m., when the Guam Fire Department received a 911 call reporting an auto accident with serious injuries at Santa Monica Avenue and the Farmer's Co-Op, according to GFD spokeswoman Cherika Chargualaf.
GFD units arrived at 8:05 a.m., Chargualaf said.
CPR was performed by medics as they transported the single occupant, later identified by a relative on the scene as Abel Sangalang, to GRMC, Chargualaf said.
