Malaysia's labour demand rises 2.7% y-o-y in 1Q to 8.81 mil jobs

Malaysia’s labour demand continued its upward trend in the first quarter of 2023 (1Q2023) with total jobs rising 2.7% to 8.81 million, from 8.57 million in the same quarter last year, the Department of Statistics Malaysia reported.
