Major Ennis Plan To Be Launched Next Month

The Taoiseach is to visit Ennis in the New Year to launch a new long-term strategy for the town’s development.
Clare Fianna Fáil Senator Timmy Dooley has confirmed that party leader Micheál Martin will visit the county town on January 25th to launch Ennis 2040.
It comes after the plan, which is expected to include plans to rejuvenate much of the town centre as well as setting out long-term development goals, was raised in the Dáil with calls on the government to approve an application for funding to allow for works at O’Connell Street and O’Connell Square.
