Mahoning, SRMC update vaccine locations, doses

Vaccine sites in Mahoning and Columbiana counties were updated Wednesday. 
In response to the State of Ohio's advice that providers of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine against COVID-19 halt distribution of the shots, Mahoning County Public Health announced that it has canceled all appointments set for Friday and Saturday at its mass vaccine site in Boardman. 
The agency has held a vaccine site in the former Dillard's store at Southern Park Mall.  
Officials say 525 appointments set for April 16-17 were canceled, and that they are working with the Ohio Department of Health to acquire Moderna or Pfizer doses to administer April 23-24.
