M&R rockets as sale of Australian unit removes threat of rights issue

The sale of Murray & Roberts' Australian subsidiary Clough for A$350 million (R4 billion) has removed the threat of the company asking shareholders for a bailout, sending the engineering firm's shares up by more than a quarter on Tuesday.
