On Feb. 5, Loveland Police Department detective were contacted by investigators from the Montgomery County Texas District Attorney's Office's Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce regarding online child exploitation, according to a Wednesday release. The LPD immediately initiated a joint investigation into the exploitation based on information from Texas investigators who had been in contact with a local Loveland man online who had been communicating with an undercover ICAC unit officer.
