Louisville City FC dropped its second straight match, falling 1-0 to Atlanta United 2 inside Fifth Third Bank Stadium.Atlanta scored the only goal in the match in the 26th minute courtesy of Aiden McFadden. The goal was assisted by Caleb Wiley. LouCity had a chance to tie in the 81st minute, but Niall McCabe's penalty kick was saved by Alec Kann. “I certainly feel we’re creating enough chances to win games, and I’ve felt that here two games in a row," said interim head coach Danny Cruz. "But the score line is what matters. Chances are great, but if you’re not finishing them, then ultimately you put yourself in a position to lose the game."We need to be better in individual execution and collective execution, and that starts with me making sure we’re consistently working on it and progressing daily.”The loss dropped LouCity FC to 2-2-1 on the season. The Boys in Purple will look to bounce back on Saturday when they host Memphis 901 FC inside Lynn Family Stadium. Full capacity will be allowed for the first time since Lynn Family Stadium opened.
